This is an alloy bodied Rover P2 sports tourer, one of about 200 manufactured by APA Panelcraft in Coventry in 1947/8 on the Rover 12hp chassis.
It has a 1496cc 4 cylinder engine with a 4 speed manual gearbox.
The car was recommissioned a few years ago, after being dry stored for over 50 years.
It starts easily and runs well. The body is in good condition, but there are some blemishes and imperfections in the paint finish. The leather seats are original, but are worn and cracked, which gives a lovely original patina to the car.
There is a vinyl hood, and the original sidescreens, but these need some restoration.
It has been used in the last year to attend local vintage and classic events and always attracts attention due to its rarity. It is believed that approximately 35 still exist worldwide.
