Rugby Classic Motor Garage was established in the early 1980,s to provide sales and service requirements for owners of older MGB & Midget models which were no longer of interest to Austin Rover dealerships., and to keep old “Inspector Morse” Mk2 Jaguars on the road.
Forty + years later , and after continuous changes and development,
We are still here and offering the same services plus a lot more to older generation owners , and new classic car owners alike.
We now cater for MG sports car owners from prewar up to the final MGF/TF models, but we also have a great knowledge of classic Jaguars from the 1950,s onwards including MK1/2 saloons , XK & E-types.
And also the equivalent Daimler models , V8-250 , Sovereign etc.
We can also supply or obtain parts for Austin- Healey 100/3000 and Triumph TR / Spitfire models up to 1980.
We have been able over the years to develop special skills which are now hard to find , and we can offer services such as rebuilds of wire wheels, rechroming of obsolete parts from headlamps to bumpers , reconditioning of Smiths & Jaeger instruments , Shotblasting and powdercoating of chassis and engine bay components.
